Join us for the premiere of a new video! In 2005, Vancouver Moving Theatre - in cooperation with the Carnegie Community Centre- began a series of workshops and forums involving Downtown Eastside community members exploring the roots of addiction. We’re All in This Together is the shadow play that emerged from the recollections of over 1000 people and their collaboration with artists, designers, musicians, directors and writers. Bringing Shadows Into Light is a short documentary about the making of the shadow play. Before the screening, Aline LaFlamme and Daughters of the Drum will sing a song to honour Cease Wyss and her work in the community. The screening will be followed by archival footage of the play.
