Dubfreque: Celebrating old school + new school + future school reggae, ska, rocksteady & soul. This Vancouver group has combined 6 unique, experienced and diverse musicians who all share one goal: to bring songs, rhythms, harmony, positive energy and the love of reggae music in all its forms to as many bouncing souls as possible.

Elaine Shepherd: Elaine "Lil'Bit" Shepherd’s singing career began in 1994 when the then-7-year-old performer joined The Big Bang (Batibot) Gang. This youth variety group toured extensively in her native Bahrain. In 2004, Shepherd won the Richmond District Idol Singing Competition and recorded her first single, “Let me know, or let me go”. The former Richmond Idol has performed all over the Vancouver area, and recently traveled to other places around BC with her music. She has opened for Ibo & Kindred and Culture Brown, and has worked with Hedley, Jahranimo, Zukie Joseph, Ras Indio and more. Shepherd sang in the gospel ensemble Joy, managed by Ray Carroll, formerly of The Platters. She performs regularly in Vancouver with reggae bands Ten Souljers, Natural Flavas, Selassie iPower, and Fredlocks Asher and the Ultra Flex Crew. Elaine Shepherd is committed to recording her first original Reggae and R&B album with producer Fredlocks Asher in the coming year.
