Historical luminaries like Sigmund Freud, Mother Teresa and Satan are also called upon to give expert testimony in this hip, twentieth century examination of the most famous double-cross in the book. The production uses impertinent humour and scathing satire to negotiate the thorny issues of forgiveness, mercy, and eternal damnation. Equal parts philosophy, entertainment, and spiritual exploration, The Last Days of Judas Iscariot ensures the audience will find fertile ground for discussion well after the show ends.

When it originally opened off-Broadway in 2005, Stephen Adly Guirgis'  work was directed by Philip Seymour Hoffman. With five cutting edge theatre companies (Neworld Theatre, Pacific Theatre, The Cultch, Rumble Productions, and Pound of Flesh) involved in its Vancouver incarnation, Last Days represents a truly collaborative effort utilizing some of Vancouver's best talents.
