Comedy No Laughing Matter For Some Locals

Was it hate speech or freedom of expression?

The BC Human Rights Tribunal continues to hear evidence against a comedian who targetted lesbians at a show in Vancouver nearly three years ago.

A complaint was filed against Guy Earle and the owner of the now-closed Zesty's Restaurant by Lorna Pardy, a 32 year old woman who claims she suffered post traumatic stress disorder after Earle personally insulted her in front of an audience, then snapped her sunglasses in half.
