Slam Poet Koyczan Bends 2 Billion Ears at Olympics
East Van spoken Word enthusiasts got an unexpected treat last night during the opening cerimonies of the 2010 Winter Games, when local slam poetry legend Shane Koyczan wowed the crowd with his inspirational poem "We Are More". The ceremonies drew a record audience, thanks to the internet. Here's another version of the poem compliments of YouTube.
